Donna Letizia's kindness and goodness quickly became known throughout the region, and she was loved and respected by all. She maintained a simple and refined style, and even the magnificent residence, built of lava stone on a small hill overlooking the property, reflected her character. The furnishings were elegant, and works of art adorned the welcoming spaces, ready to welcome guests to the numerous dinners she loved to host throughout the year.
